The Institute of Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration of the Bureau of Geological Survey of China recently organized a meeting on the quality control of geochemical survey project analysis. At the meeting, Xing Lixia, deputy director of the bureau's general office, read out the Notice of the China Geological Survey on Strengthening the Quality Control of Geochemical Investigation Project Analysis, and made it clear that the Institute of Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration is the supporting unit of the bureau's geochemical survey project analysis quality control business.
Xing Lixia said that with the large-scale development of geochemical survey and land quality survey, the requirements for the quality of analytical data are constantly improving, and the quality monitoring of sample analysis is extremely important. She requested that the Institute further improve the construction plan of the analytical quality control center for geochemical survey projects of China Geological Survey Bureau and effectively promote the monitoring of the analytical quality of geochemical survey projects; regional centers and relevant experts should actively cooperate with the work of the Institute and jointly promote the monitoring of analytical quality.
According to Peng Xuanming, director of Geophysical and Geochemical Prospecting Institute, in order to support the analysis quality control of the Bureau's geochemical survey project, the Institute has established a quality control center for the development and analysis of reference materials. According to the deployment, the quality control center has seven functions: first, it is responsible for compiling the annual analysis quality control work plan and work plan of the bureau, which will be carried out after the approval of the bureau's general office; second, it is responsible for the ability review and confirmation of the geochemical survey sample analysis and test laboratory; third, it is to develop geochemical reference materials, prepare and provide standard control samples according to the needs, and carry out the test data quality. Quantitative statistical analysis; Fourth, organizing quality monitoring and data acceptance of geochemical survey samples and preparing annual quality monitoring reports; Fifth, preparing and revising relevant standards or technical requirements for quality monitoring and organizing business training and technical guidance; Sixth, building and maintaining the quality monitoring network platform for analysis; Seventh, establishing and managing the quality monitoring expert database.
At the meeting, the Institute of Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration also reported on the operational plan of the analytical quality control of the geochemical survey project. The participants had a heated discussion on improving the operational plan, clarifying the relevant responsibilities and tasks, revising the technical specifications or requirements of the analytical quality control, and the tasks and deployment arrangements for the fourth quarter of 2017.
More than 30 people attended the meeting, including the relevant leaders of the General Laboratory of China Geological Survey and the Institute of Geophysical and Geochemical Prospecting, the six regional survey centers of China Geological Survey and some experts of testing quality control.
